Monday, June 20th and Thursday, June 23rd Rallies
On Monday (June 20), the entire Senate is expected to vote on this legislation and the Assembly Budget Committee is expected to vote to move this legislation out of committee. On Thursday (June 23), the entire Assembly is expected to vote on the legislation if it is voted out of the Assembly Budget Committee on Monday. We will be there! The unions will hold rallies this Monday and Thursday.
Buses will leave MSU at 8:00 AM on Monday and Thursday and will return at approximately 4:00 PM.

Members Make a Difference Everyday
Congratulations to Gina Balestracci and Venezia Michaelsen, two members of AFT Local 1904, who have been recognized by the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) for outstanding academic advising.
Gina Balestracci, an academic administrator at the John J. Cali School of Music, has been selected as an Outstanding Advising Certificate of Merit recipient in the Academic Advising – Primary Role category.
Venezia Michalsen, assistant professor of Justice Studies, has been selected as an Outstanding New Advisor Certificate of Merit recipient in the Faculty Academic Advising category.
They will be honored and presented with their awards at NACADA’s Annual Conference this fall in Denver, Colorado.
