At the April 3, 2014 Board of Trustees, Rich Wolfson, President of AFT Local 1904, commended the Board for establishing the Robert
McCormick Center for Child Advocacy in memory of Dr. McCormick,
who devoted his life to children. He also congratulated Bill Batkay,
Claire Taub, Peter Paster, and Opoku Agyeman on receiving Emeriti status.
Together they total 134 years of exceptional service to their educational
disciplines and the students of Montclair State University. He also welcomed new
Faculty appointments and congratulated Professional Staff on their
reappointments.
In addition, he commented on the inadequate state funding for public higher education and the
