May 1st was International Workers’ Day, also commonly known as May Day. This day celebrates workers and commemorates the achievements of the labor movement. It is also a time of action and solidarity. On that day, on campus, Locals 1904 and 6025 hosted tables on Montclair State Alumni Green outside Cole Hall, to greet our labor community and encourage action in solidarity with the voices of thousands of workers across the nation. The Locals also invited new Union membership, and shared AFT swag.
