Today, officers and other members of the AFT Local 1904 and AFT Local 6025 (adjuncts), together with students and others of the general MSU community, as well as members of AFT New Jersey and the New Jersey Education Association, gathered in solidarity on the MSU campus, to defend students and continued access to education in the United States. Participants assembled at the MSU Amphitheater, where opening remarks were offered by AFT Local 1904 President Laura Field, AFT Local 6025 President Mary Wallace, and AFT New Jersey President Jennifer Higgins, followed by a solidarity walk around campus.
